Physical Education - Sport Management Option, A.S.
Physical Education-Sport Management is designed to prepare students with the sport skills, fitness concepts, management, marketing, and public relations skills to become managers in sport related agencies.
Employment opportunities may include professional sports, health and racquet clubs, community recreation centers, and sports arenas. Each four-year college or university determines which BC3 courses are acceptable in transfer. Students should contact the institution for assurance prior to registering for the course at BC3.
The student/graduate will be able to:
- Identify specific wellness behaviors attributed to not only lowering the risk of a disease or disorder, but also preventing it.
- Apply healthy eating habits to personal dietary plans.
- Initiate a healthy/physical lifestyle by improving personal fitness scores.
