Whether you're passionate about teaching, psychology, or human services, the Education & Behavioral Sciences Division at BC3 gives you the tools to support and empower others. With hands-on learning, transfer opportunities, and flexible options—including fully online programs—you’ll be prepared to lead, teach, and advocate for positive change.

Your Path, Your Way

Career Programs: 

Start a meaningful career right after graduation with 2-year degrees in: 

  • Early childhood education (Pre K-4) 
  • Park and recreation management (the only program of its kind among PA community colleges!) 

Transfer Programs: 

Earn your associate degree and transfer to a 4-year college with junior standing. Popular transfer options include: 

  • PASSHE universities 
  • La Roche College (Psychology B.A.) 
  • Other public, private, or online institutions 

Certificate Options: 

Complete a certificate in less than a year to build your skills or enter the workforce faster. 

Hands-On Experience

  • Teaching Lab: The Dr. Robert L. Paserba Teaching and Learning Lab lets you practice classroom layouts, lesson plans, and more in a real-world setting. 
  • Child Observation: Learn by observing young learners in action at our Amy Wise Children’s Creative Learning Center. 
  • Online Options: Our psychology program is available 100% online for ultimate flexibility.
