Support That Works for You

The Office of Access & Disability Resources is your partner in creating a fair and supportive learning experience. From extended test time to note-taking assistance, our team is here to help you succeed.

We use your lived experience, combined with guidance from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504, to provide reasonable and appropriate accommodations from enrollment through graduation.

How It Works

Self Identify using our Self-Disclosure Form

This form gives us preliminary information and allows us to begin planning reasonable accommodations. Within 3 business days, you’ll receive an email from accommodations@bc3.edu with a link to schedule your intake meeting.

Your first meeting will be with Jenn Loue, Director of Student Access & Success. Together, you’ll:

  1. Talk about your past experiences and current concerns
  2. Review documentation (if needed)
  3. Identify barriers you may face at BC3
  4. Create a plan for moving forward

Appointments are available in person or virtually.

After your intake, you’ll receive a Memo of Accommodations and guidance on how to use them. You’ll also meet with a Success Coach to learn about available resources and strategies to help you reach your academic goals.

Common Accommodations

We work with you and your faculty to reduce barriers to learning. Some of the most commonly approved accommodations include:

  • Extended or distraction-reduced testing
  • Recording lectures or note-taking support
  • Alternate or enlarged text materials
  • Interpreting services
  • Other accommodations tailored to your needs
