(Butler, PA) The American Association of Community Colleges’ board of directors has appointed Dr. Belinda Richardson to a 40-member panel charged with advising the advocacy organization about policies and practices that support rural and under-resourced community colleges and their communities. 

Richardson, BC3’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, will help the Commission on Small, Rural and Regional Resilience over the next three years to propose to the board strategies for broadband access, shared resources and regional innovation, according to the AACC. 

Each of the AACC’s six commissions are composed of presidents and senior leaders from the nation’s 1,000-plus community colleges.
