Major: Nursing (RN)

Why did you choose BC3?  BC3 offers the best and most affordable nursing program across the whole state. I always dreamed of going to a 4-year college but after seeing the welcoming, enjoyable, and engaging environment here, I knew this school was meant to be. BC3 really does offer something for everyone!

My favorite part about BC3...is the Logan Cafe! I love getting coffee and snacks with my friends in between classes. 

Advice to prospective students: Just do it! BC3 offers something for everyone and you will definitely appreciate the money you will save by going here. 

As well as being a student ambassador, I am also a member of the Nursing Club.

If I could plan a perfect Sunday...I would have a Jeep Wrangler with the doors and top off, coasting down the road with the music up, during the sunset with my friends.

Major: Elementary Education (Pre K-4)

Why did you choose BC3? BC3 provides you with a small class learning environment at an affordable cost. I am well prepared to transfer to a 4-year university to finish out my bachelor’s degree in Education. I have been given so many tools to be successful. BC3 has given me the opportunity to branch out and use my voice as well as build friendships that I believe will last a lifetime!

My favorite part of BC3 is...all the connections I have made! I have strong relationships with all my teachers. I also have met a lot of new people and have been able to make friends. I love seeing familiar faces around campus and being able to say "Hi" to everyone in passing!

Advice to prospective students: Get involved! I highly recommend getting involved in the school! Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. I can truly say I have had so much fun this year being a Student Ambassador. It has been an amazing experience for me! I have gained new skills that I will use in my future job! I am well prepared socially.

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...Attend church in the morning, hangout with my friends, end the day with dinner and game night with my family.

Why did you choose BC3? I chose BC3 for a few important reasons. It is so close to home for me that travel is minimal, the classes are very affordable, and the small class sizes make interacting with the professors easy. They also make transferring a breeze.

My favorite part of BC3 is...Having so many nice places to hang out or study 

Advice to prospective students: Have a system for your notes and organization. It will make it easier to study!

Activities/Involvement on Campus: Student Ambassador

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...(Depending on the season) chilling out at home with my fur babies and hanging out with good friends.

Why did you choose BC3? I originally attended a 4-year school and learned it wasn’t for me. BC3 gave me the flexibility and community I needed to enjoy higher education.

My favorite part of BC3 is...the atmosphere. It’s apparent that every staff member cares about my success.

Advice to prospective students: Don't stress too much about picking the “right” major or the “right” school. Obviously, finding where you fit is important, but the world we live in puts so much stress on figuring out your life so early on. Everyone’s path is different. So just remember you’re not behind if you’re unsure of things.

Activities/Involvement on Campus: Student Ambassador

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...going to Mass with my family, visiting my Grandma, and just spending quality time with those I love.

Why did you choose BC3? I took classes at BC3 in high school and love the campus and staff. When I was hired as a tutor at BC3, I decided I definitely wanted to go to school here. I have loved every second of it!

My favorite part of BC3 is...My friends and the faculty/staff.   Going to BC3 has helped me make a ton of awesome friends!  The tutoring staff are so welcoming and have become my friends as well as my coworkers.  The BC3 English faculty are very supportive and they encourage me about my writing.

Advice to prospective students: Enjoy as much of college as you can!

Activities/Involvement on Campus: I work on campus as a tutor (English, Algebra, and Sociology courses), I am a FACETS literary editor, Student Ambassador, the Secretary and Treasurer of the BC3 Writer's Club, the student Director of the BC3 Succop Theater, and a Phi Theta Kappa member.

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...My perfect Sunday would be going to Starbucks with my best friend, playing with my two kittens, and my weekly Spa Day (I do this every single Sunday).

If you looked at the songs that were on repeat on my playlist you would find..."Riverside" by Agnes Obel, "Play with Fire" by Sam Tinnesz, and the entire KISS Hot in the Shade album.

Why did you choose BC3? I chose BC3 for many different reasons. The biggest has to be the affordability, the closeness to home, and the incredible opportunities they offer here!

My favorite part of BC3 is...My favorite thing about BC3 is the nice campus, affordability, and the closeness to home! 

Advice to prospective students: The tip I have for prospective students is to get involved! It's the best way to make new connections within the college and develop new friendships. 

Activities/Involvement on campus: Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, and the Presidential Scholars Program 

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...Spending a chill day at home to relax before the week ahead.

My favorite part of BC3 is...how nice everyone is and really getting to be treated as an adult and being able to have the opportunities to grow and learn more about subjects that I actually care about.

Activities/Involvement on Campus: Student Ambassadors

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...either a lazy day in bed watching Netflix or a girls shopping day.

Why did you choose BC3? The staff recognized me from touring BC3 years before and instructors know each student that they meet. Instructors teach to each students learning style and care about each students progress. BC3 provides many wonderful support systems and activities for everyone. There are great opportunities for involvement as well here.

My favorite part of BC3 is? Knowing everyone by name, and all of the activities we can be part of (even from afar).

Advice to prospective students: Repetition is key, study in small amounts each day and don’t panic.

Activities/Involvement on Campus: We are adding to the activities available at the Brockway campus, but my favorites are the crafts.

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like...a peaceful day of quiet rain, soft music, and a good book.

Why did you choose BC3? I originally chose BC3 for the fantastic nursing program, affordability, then I fell in love with the campus, courses, and opportunities!

My favorite part of BC3 is? The people and how the students are friendly and fun to be around. My classmates make studying much more tolerable. My professors are all very supportive and helpful, too!

Advice to prospective students: Don’t be afraid to get involved or just spend some extra time on campus after class. Meeting people and making connections is just as much a part of college as classes are!

Activities/Involvement on Campus: I am on the women's softball team, a member of nursing club, Phi Theta Kappa, and a student ambassador.

If I could plan a perfect Sunday, it would look like... a chill day hanging out with friends.
