Already earned college credits? Whether through high school courses, military experience, or another college, we’re here to help you make the most of your hard work. Use the resources below to see how your credits can transfer to BC3.
Already earned credit in high school?
You may qualify for BC3 credit through AP classes, vo-tech programs, or dual enrollment.
Transferring from another college?
We welcome students from across the state and beyond.

- Other Institutions (Contact the Admissions & Records Office)
Your service counts.
You may receive credit for military training and coursework.
Turn your experience into credit.
You may qualify for credit based on work, certifications, or community service.
Steps:
- Contact the academic dean for your area of study.
- Prepare a portfolio with supporting documents.
- Submit to life.credits@bc3.edu.
Note: There is a $150 portfolio evaluation fee per course.

How to Apply as a Transfer Student
- Apply to BC3 and pay the $25 application fee.
- Submit transcripts from:
- High school (or GED/HiSET scores)
- All colleges or universities you’ve attended.
Note: To transfer a course to BC3, you must have earned a final grade of “C” or higher.
- Send AP or CLEP scores directly from The College Board.
Note: AP scores must be 3 or higher.
Transfer Your Financial Aid
If you're receiving financial aid at another school, you can transfer it to BC3.
