Office Administration - Executive, A.A.S.
Students in this program will acquire skills in Microsoft® Office applications, office procedures, customer service, and business communication.
A graduate of this program seeks employment as a secretary or administrative assistant in a business, government, educational, or industrial environment. Successful completion of this program may potentially lead to professional licensure. Licensure may be global, national, or state-specific. This program meets requirements for the State of Pennsylvania. Requirements for other states may vary.
Courses listed in the first/third semester will be scheduled for the fall; second/fourth semester courses will be scheduled for the spring.
The student/graduate will be able to:
- Accurately key, format, and edit business documents.
- Perform administrative office procedures in a business setting.
- Create a professional portfolio illustrating personal competency skills acquired in the Office Administration program.
- Demonstrate word processing proficiency.
