History major’s degree 60 years in making
William “Don” Thomas’ educational journey from a University of Maryland distance student while serving in France in the Air Force in the late 1950s concluded with a standing ovation at BC3’s 2018 commencement. “Never give up, and everything,” he said, “will come in time. Whether it is two years, five years or 60 years.”
