Our 2012 Commencement will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the Field House.
Have you applied for graduation?
You may pick up caps and gowns Monday, April 16th - Friday, May 4th between 9am and 3 pm at the Office of Student Life, located on the second floor of the Student Success Center .
If you cannot pick up your commencement attire during these times please contact, Sherri Osborne at 724.287.8711 Ext. 8448 so that we can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule. If you do not sign up during this time, we will not reserve a place for you in the graduation line.
If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa you will also receive a Phi Theta Kappa Stole on loan to wear for commencement. However, all stoles must be returned immediately following the ceremony. The caps, gowns, and tassel are yours to keep. Stoles may also be purchased at the bookstore.

Rehearsal is Monday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Field House. It should last approximately 1 1/2 hours. It is important that you attend. Call 724.287.8711, Ext. 8448 if an emergency occurs that will prevent your attendance at rehearsal.
Because seating is limited, each participating graduate will receive five (5) tickets for family and/or guests. Five (5) Announcements and envelopes are available to each student. Only those with tickets will be admitted to the Field House. Extra announcements are available upon request. Extra Admission tickets may be available and distributed only to those who attend rehearsal. You may pick up your announcements and admission tickets Monday, April 19th - Friday, April 23rd between 9am and 3 pm at the Office of Student Life, located on the second floor of the Student Success Center .
Diplomas will be distributed after the ceremony downstairs in the Student Union as you return your borrowed stole. Only your diploma cover will be given during the actual ceremony. If you do not attend the commencement ceremony your diploma will be mailed to you.
Gold tassels will be given to honor students at rehearsal. (This is not a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Tassel) the tassel represents academic honors for all students such as summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude. Honors are NOT determined until after final grades have been submitted for the semester.
Phi Theta Kappa members need to identify themselves as eligible Phi Theta Kappa members at the Office of Student Life in order to reserve your gold Phi Theta Kappa Honor Stole.
You and your guests are invited to a reception in your honor in the Founders Hall immediately following the ceremony.
