The staff at BC3's Public Safety Training Programs interacts with the emergency responders in not only providing training but planning it as well. Other help provided is department organization, leadership training, new technologies and certification.

Local Level/Specialized Classes are provided at the local agency or regional fire school on a date and time of their choice with minimal expense to the emergency responder. There are 127 Pennsylvania State Fire Academy (PSFA)(SFA) accredited programs being offered. Local agencies can expand their knowledge by working with BC3 to develop and offer Specialized site or local specific training in their area. Throughout Butler County and Western Pennsylvania the rural Fire/EMS departments can count on BC3 to deliver these programs.   Register your Department/Agency for classes today

Certification is provided in partnership with the OSFC. The OSFC has been given delegated authority by the state legislature to implement and run the Professional Certification of firefighters in Pennsylvania. There are two certifications available. They are Pro Board Certification (National Board of Fire Service Professional Qualifications) and IFSAC Certification (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress). BC3 was the primary supporter of the OSFC in its quest to bring IFSAC certification back to their office. Because of this effort Pennsylvania Firefighters now receive duel certification.
