BC3 has partnered with World Instructor Training Schools, a national fitness certifying organization, to train people to become Personal Fitness Trainers.
The fitness field is growingly rapidly, and the U.S. Department of Labor projects a 28% increase in the number of fitness professionals needed over the next decade. Personal Fitness Training classes will be offered on main campus.
Classes will begin fall 2014 at BC3 Main Campus. Instruction will include both classroom and hands-on training. Tuesday classes are at Butler Main Campus and Thursday classes are at the Butler YMCA; cost is $699. A textbook is required.

The program consists of classroom and practical training. To complete the certificate, students must pass exams and participate in CPR as well as an internship.
