Act 48 Courses for School Personnel
ACT 48 non-credit courses meet ACT 48 Requirements. Butler County Community College is home to a widely respected ACT 48 program. The Lifelong Learning courses are designed to assist school personnel in meeting Act 48 requirements. However, anyone 16 years of age or older may register for these courses.
Act 48
ACT 48 requires all persons holding Pennsylvania professional educator certification to complete continuing educational requirements every five years in order to maintain their certificates as active.
Please be sure to fill out an ACT 48 Participant Data Form and submit to Maria Fennell in the Continuing Education department. Please use the address listed at the bottom of the form.
