Mrs. Annie Lindsay
Mrs. Annie Lindsay completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Miami University of Ohio and then continued her studies to earn a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. She is certified to teach grades K-6 and also maintains her principal certificate for grades K-12. Annie taught for eleven years in the elementary classroom before joining the Butler County Community College family. She currently teaches courses for the education department and the PAPA/PECT/Praxis program. Annie has been preparing students for high-stakes standardized state testing since entering the classroom. She believes that understanding the test objectives, preparing with the correct materials, and designing a study plan geared to meet each student’s needs are the keys to success!
Mr. Brian Sauers
Mr. Brian Sauers completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at the Pennsylvania State University and then continued his studies to earn a Masterís of Elementary Education from Marymount University located in Arlington, Virginia. Brian is certified in Elementary Education K-6 and Middle School Social Studies. Currently he is teaching 3rd grade in the Pine Richland School District, north of Pittsburgh, where he has taught for 10 years. He understands and appreciates the time and dedication essential to preparing and passing the PAPA and PECT exams. Brian enjoys working with future teachers as they prepare for their careers in education.
Mrs. Brittnee Madigan
Mrs. Brittnee Madigan completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Slippery Rock University and earned her Masterís Degree in Middle School and Secondary Instruction from Edinboro University. She is currently teaching math and technology at Butler Catholic School. Brittnee believes that being prepared for the Praxis test is essential in passing the test. In addition to the studentís dedication and hard work, she believes in aligning the test objectives to her instruction and course materials for best results.
Mrs. Holly Murphy
Mrs. Holly Murphy earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education at Grove City College and her Master's and Reading Specialist Certification at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Holly currently teaches first grade in North Hills School District but also enjoys working with Praxis/PECT students through online courses and individual tutoring. She understands the hard work and preparation that goes into preparing for the exams and is dedicated to helping her students pass!
Mrs. Kerry Miller
Mrs. Kerry Miller finished her bachelor's degree in history from Minot State University in North Dakota. After returning to Pennsylvania, Kerry earned a master's degree in education from Waynesburg College where she obtained her PA teaching certificate in secondary social studies. Kerry is also certified in English, Math, Science, Biology, Spanish, Health, Library Science, and Latin. Kerry has been an instructor with the Butler County Community College Praxis program since 2006. She knows how stressful it can be to take the Praxis exams, but Kerry believes the key to overcoming test anxiety is preparation! Kerry provides students with great review materials and helps students focus their attention on key test areas.
Mrs. Kristen DiDonato
Mrs. Kristen DiDonato earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Kristen also completed her Master's of Reading at California University in Pennsylvania. She currently teaches third grade for the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. Kristen greatly enjoys working with teacher candidates through one-on-one tutoring to help them achieve their goal of becoming a teacher.
Mrs. Sari Harris
Mrs. Sari Harris has been an instructor with the Praxis program since moving to Pennsylvania from Indianapolis several years ago. Her time in the elementary and middle school classroom gives her great insight into the Praxis exams. Sari's move to PA prompted her to take the exams as she reciprocated her teaching license. Having taught every grade level from K-grade 8 and at the college level as well, Sari understands how to help students learn what is necessary to pass their Praxis/PECT exams and apply the concepts as well. Sari lives in Butler with her husband and 3 children.
