Giving Opportunities
The BC3 Education Foundation will direct unrestricted funds to the current area of greatest need. Donors can also direct their gift to a specific program that is most important to them. Also, there are over 1,500 businesses and corporations that will match a current employee or retirees' contribution to higher education. Donors are encouraged to explore this opportunity with their employer.
Gifts Are Tax Deductible
The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Gifts are tax deductible as permitted by law and made payable to the BC3 Education Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 1203, Butler, PA 16003-1203. For more information call 724-287-8711, ext. 8326.
Annual Campaign
Each year, the BC3 Education Foundation conducts an Annual Campaign to raise funds for educational equipment, classroom renovations, faculty enhancement, student scholarships, and innovative college programs. One-half of the Annual Campaign income goes to a permanent endowment fund to ensure future financial stability.
Annual Campaign Gift Club Levels
- Founder's Club - $2,500 and above
- President's Club - $1,000 to $2,499
- Investor's Club - $500 to $999
- Sponsor's Club - $250 to $499
- Century Club - $100 to $249
- Associate - $50 to $99
- Other - $_________
Donor Options
There are a variety of opportunities for donors to support Butler County Community College. In addition to monetary gifts, the BC3 Education Foundation accepts gifts in the form of:
- Stocks and Bonds
- Gift Annuities
- Charitable Trusts
- Wills and Bequests
- Life Insurance
- Real Estate
Many of these gifting methods can provide an annual return to the donor and their heirs.
Donor Recognition
Charitable financial contributions and gifts by local businesses, corporations, organizations, alumni, college employees, retirees, and friends are appreciated and recognized in the College's annual report.

Golf Outing
The BC3 Education Foundation Annual Golf Outing gives donors the opportunity to golf at the beautiful Old Stonewall Golf Club and support the College through participation in the event.
The Golf Outing is an 18-hole team scramble that includes a golf cart, lunch, dinner, and awards. Prizes are awarded for team scores and individual skill events.
The Golf Outing is made possible by the support of area businesses and friends. Various sponsorship opportunities are available.
