Attention Chapter 33 Post 9/11 Veterans:
If you are registered for classes for the spring semester at BC3, your schedule will be held. Your certification will be sent in to the VA showing how many credits you are taking so there is not a delay with your BAH or book stipend. After the 100% drop/add period, another certification will sent in with the total tuition and fees. This will help eliminate some overpayments and will be more accurate.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Veterans office at BC3.
The Veterans Coordinator, located in the Financial Aid Office at Butler County Community College, handles all paperwork for individuals applying for Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) educational benefits.
Counseling and information regarding financial aid, credit for military service, and tutorial assistance is also available. This office is also your link to the DVA in cases of problems with educational benefit processing.
The information provided on this site is intended to assist students in utilizing available veterans benefits for their time at BC3.
Veterans are encouraged to contact the Department of Veterans Affairs for the most current information especially with questions regarding payment. The phone number for the Department of Veterans Affairs is 1.888.442.4551.
