BC3 Scholarships Are Available to All Students and Majors!

 

The BC3 Education Foundation awards over $120,000 a year in scholarships to BC3 students.

  • Awards based on a variety of criteria
  • Application deadline – July 1
  • Complete one application and you are considered for 63 Scholarship Awards!

Before You Get Started

For need-based scholarships, you are required to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to submitting your scholarship application. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. For academic scholarships, in the event of multiple candidates having comparable GPAs, preference will be given to those who have completed the FAFSA form and have greater financial need.

Here's how you get started in 8 easy steps:

  1. Apply to BC3. BC3 Admissions web page
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (do not include a copy) if you would like to be considered for the need based scholarships.
  3. Enclose the information required by the scholarship(s) for which you feel you qualify. Required items are bolded under Scholarship Criteria. See Lists of Scholarships for required items. A statement is defined as a paragraph and an essay is one page, double spaced using Times New Roman 12 point.
  4. Include final high school transcript (2010 graduates: You are encouraged to apply early, however applications will not be complete unless we receive your final high school transcript by July 1).
  5. If you currently attend a college or university other than BC3, please submit a copy of your official transcripts.
  6. Have read, understand and signed the affidavit.
  7. Have completed, signed, and mailed the Application to the BC3 Education Foundation, Inc. PO Box 1203 Butler PA 16003-1203

 

IMPORTANT! Application packet and final transcript must be received by BC3 by July 1st. (Exception: Knoch High School students’ final transcripts will be accepted until July 10, 2010).Scholarships will be awarded upon verification of final transcript.

 

All applications become property of BC3, which reserves the right to use the recipient’s name in promotional literature. All financial and academic material will be kept confidential. Applicants will be notified of determination by mail in July. Scholarship awards will be applied to recipient’s account for use as specified unless otherwise noted.
