If you are a student with a disability and are considering attending the college or are already enrolled you should make an appointment with the Disabilities Coordinator to discuss how to access services and accommodations.
Written third party documentation of the disability is usually required before services can be provided, so a student should either bring appropriate documentation to his/her appointment with the Disabilities Coordinator or have it sent to the Disabilities Coordinator prior to the appointment.
Appropriate documentation may include: a statement from a medical professional; IEPs or other school records; evaluation reports from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), Blindness and Visual Services (BVS), or other service agencies that have documented the disability and recommended accommodations; or other appropriate records as requested by the coordinator.
