A portfolio is a collection of your best work samples that is presented in the interview to the prospective employer.
You should begin to develop your portfolio during your first semester. A resume should also be started and updated each semester.

- Copies of Certifications
- Awards and Honors
- Sample of special projects
- Articles written
- Photographs of special class events and projects
- Copies of college transcripts
How Should The Portfolio Look?
- Professional - clean, neat, word processed, printed on a laser printer
- Compiled in a 3 ring binder
- All information should be in heavy plastic sleeved sheets.
- Dividers may be used to separate sections if there are many items.
- Use professional resume paper.
