BC3 has partnered with CMU to create a new Robotics Technology Associate Degree that will prepare students for new careers in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing, defense, electronics, energy, health care, construction, education, and space industries.

The Robotics Technology Associate Degree will give graduates the opportunity to transfer to 4-year universities in related engineering technology programs.
Robotics is a multi-billion dollar industry that continues to grow and evolve. Robotics education will help to create a competitive workforce capable of supporting industry growth both locally and globally.
Southwestern PA is a competitive area in this evolving technology. Careers in robotics will continue to grow as technology advances.
The Robotics Curriculum is cross-disciplinary and encompasses all aspects of Robotic devices and systems. The program is designed to prepare graduates for immediate employment as an electronic engineering technician or manufacturing technician in robotics and robotics-related industries or continue their education.
Students need basic math skills and an interest in science, electronics, and technology. The skill sets students learn in robotics focus on design, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork and apply to existing and emerging industries.
