Call To Order Mr. Steffler called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. 
Agenda Ms. Staible moved to approve the agenda.  Motion Carried.  
Minutes Dr. DiCuccio moved to approve the Minutes of the December 5, 2012, Regular Board Meeting.  Motion Carried.
Introduction of Guests Susan Changnon introduced today’s guests.
Treasurer's Report Jim Hrabosky reviewed the December Operating, Capital, Academic Enhancement and Restricted Funds Budget Summaries.  He also reviewed the Enrollment Report as of January 15, 2013.  The Budget Summaries were accepted as presented. 
Public Comment None
President's Report Dr. Neupauer reported on the following:

State and Federal Activities
-The community college presidents met on January 7-8.  The group spoke with the new Senate Education Committee Chair, Mike Folmer.
-Mr. Steffler and Dr. Neupauer will attend the annual National Legislative Summit in Washington, DC on February 11-14.  Meetings are being scheduled with Senators Toomey and Casey and with Representative Kelly.
-Dr. Neupauer will attend the House Appropriations Committee meeting in Harrisburg on March 4.
-Dr. Neupauer will attend a Legislative Breakfast scheduled for March 12 in Harrisburg.

College Activities
-The College will be closed January 21, 2013, for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.  
-Officer Mike Pearson was a recipient of the Fireman’s Association of the State of PA Unit Valor Award for helping save the life of a four-year old.  The award honors members of fire or emergency services who display exceptional courage.
-Spring Professional Day was held on January 11.  Dr. Neupauer emphasized campus safety and Pat Massaro and Case Willoughby spoke from worst case scenario and behavioral points of view.
-BC3 is the winner of the 2012 Butler Eagle Readers’ Choice Award for education.
Committee Reports  
Executive Mr. Steffler reported the committee on January 2 to discuss the capital campaign and again on January 11 to review the BC3 Financial Summary document.
Finance No report.
Facilities Mr. Steffler reported the committee met on January 2 to discuss the Lawrence Crossing building, renovation of 278 Old Plank Road, upgrades to the Children’s Creative Learning Center and the College’s 2013-14 capital projects application to the state.

Delegate Reports
Foundation Ruth Purcell reported on the following:

-The campaign feasibility study was completed and presented to BC3 Trustees and Foundation at a special meeting of the Foundation by Pend Armistead, President of the Armistead Group on December 6, 2012.  The following day Mr. Armistead presented the study to President’s Cabinet and the Foundation staff. The Foundation Board and staff are reviewing results and recommendations.
-Established the Bill Groft Scholarship – endowed at $10,000
-$2,172 was awarded in High School Programming Scholarships to six for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Old Business No report.
New Business Mr. Steffler and Dr. Neupauer will attend the National Legislative Summit in February.  Funding issues will be a priority at the Summit.
Executive Session An Executive Session was held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to discuss personnel-related issues.
Adjournment Mr. Mazzoni moved to adjourn the meeting.  Motion Carried.  The meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
