In June of 2006, Butler County Community College received a re-accreditation from the Middle State's Commission on Higher Education for the next 10 years and 43 commendations from the self-study evaluation team.
The BC3 Nursing Program was re-accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc. (NLNAC) in the March 2007, for 8 years.
BC3 was commended for its comprehensive education and cultural enrichment programs, grant support for off-campus sites, resource allocation, student support services and professional development of its faculty. The Public Safety and EMS programs, Graphic Design program, FACETS art and literary magazine and Distance Education online courses were singled out as outstanding in the report.

Program strengths include well-qualified faculty, a wide-variety of clinical opportunities for students, varied teaching methodologies employed by faculty in curriculum delivery, and resources, facilities and technology to support program objectives. Butler County Community College is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. (ACBSP) for the offering of all business programs that culminate in the Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science Degrees.

Butler County Community College's Nursing Program is approved by the State Board of Nursing, and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
American Physical Therapy Association
The Physical Therapist Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
American Association of Medical Assistants
The Medical Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants' Endowment (AAMAE).
