The second annual Northwest Pennsylvania STEM Conference will be held in partnership with the Southwest PA Regional STEM Initiative on June 15, 2010 at Butler County Community College.
Designed to address the urgent need to strengthen our region’s students and employees in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, this conference will also highlight successful practices and positive collaborations among area businesses and educational institutions. Additionally, educators, employers, government and military leaders will actively engage with one another as they commit to taking the next step to assuring that America’s workforce will be competitive in the Global Economy.
The event will emphasize emerging technologies, robotics, bio-medical/health services, green sustainability as well as other timely and relevant topics. Over 300 participants at this conference will represent the region’s most impactful and influential leaders.
We request your organization’s financial support of this important event. Our conference committee is staffed by a professional group of mostly volunteers, yet we still incur conference costs. Your monetary donation will allow us to increase participation, maintain a low registration fee, and expand our program content.
